Satoshi Saotome (朝倉 敏, Asakura Satoshi), service number 54561-34017-SS, was a corporal serving in the UNSC Marine Corps, a character from Future Perfect: Chao Lingshen's Tale and a protagonist in the in Destiny Unwritten: Squad Six. He is the descendant of Haruna Saotome and shares her artistic nature.
He is exceptionally smart, studying language since his youth and becoming one of the few to study Covenant linguistics in his time. It is heavily implied he is gay and that, coupled with his tiny frame and stature, often cost him no small amount of teasing outside the members of his squad.
Due to sharing his first name with squadmate Satoshi Asakura, he is primarily addressed by his surname by his squadmates, whether they are on mission or not.

Powers and Abilities[]
- Drawing Ability: Satoshi is an exceptional artist, though he pursues it mostly as a hobby. His favorite subject matter is the Marines he serves with, and he is of the firm opinion that every face and portrait tells a story.
- Intellectual Ability: Having studied linguistics prior and during his enlistment, Satoshi is one of the few that understand most Covenant languages and dialects. This ability and his expertise in it are one of the many reasons he was scouted by ONI.
